The game was fine, I think it's well worth the price, but it's just... bland? tedious? repetitive? all of the above?It's hard to put my finger on exactly what it is about ANKI but there's something... off. It's not a BAD game by any means, but I wouldn't call it a good one either. If you've got nothing better to get with a dollar then go ahead, otherwise go buy some steam trading cards to finish off that next badge in your collection or something.. Interesting game. But too hard for me.. You go around through levels collecting gems, avoiding enemies, and teleporting from left to righ, top to bottom, etc. As you collect gems in each level, it completes an aspect in the background, such as lighting up a block or growing grass. Each level slightly progresses in difficulty, adding new mechanics or enemies that keeps the game interesting. Some textures aren't exactly clean cut, like the enemies and Anki, and the hit detection is a little silly.(Just play level 10 and you'll more than likely see what I mean.) But the gameplay makes up for these minor technical issues. Overall, if you enjoy platformers, I would recommend this. Anki is an enjoyable title at a pretty affordable price.. if i had a 1 cent for everytime i died by spinning axes, id be kayne west. bad game ...
